Castor is a massive, ragged-furred black tom with cold green eyes. He was born shortly after the founding of NightClan and named as his father's, Amon, heir. Throughout his childhood, the young tom was treated harshly and spoken down to. It wasn't until Amon announced Castor's betrothal to one of the older cats in the Clan did he finally stand up to his father. After this he left NightClan for several years. Upon meeting several cats on his way back, the more prominent ones being Vega and Lyra, MoonClan's founders, and Amelia, a former Kittypet.
Castor was known to the Clans as a ruthless and malicious leader who only wanted power, making him a very dangerous opponent to the ShadeClan leader, Eiríkr. Nearing the end of his reign, Castor met the untimely demise much like his father. The ruthless tom was murdered by his own offspring, Shadowstar, who also succeeded him.
